No previous knowledge or experience is needed.
The very latest professional music notation software has been used to provide you with over 150 drum score examples clearly marked with the correct counting and sticking needed to practice the course material. Over 50 digital images have also been included to demonstrate the material. With the addition of over 150 specially written MIDI files, you have a comprehensive range of multimedia learning resources at your fingertips to take you through the course in a simple, easy-to-use format.

The course material has been designed to allow you the freedom to experiment with your own ideas in addition to the extensive range of examples provided within the main course. A series of Sight Reading pages and Groove/Fill Practice Templates are included to develop your understanding of drum notation; drum part creation and playing ability.
Although the course teaches you to sight read drum score notation from scratch, the MIDI file library also allows you to learn the entire course by 'ear' (i.e. playing along to the MIDI files) if you wish.
